Free Poker Money Available Every Six Months at PokerSource.com

San Jose, Costa Rica (PRWEB) December 31, 2008 -- PokerSource.com (http://www.pokersource.com/) is opening up its wallet during the ongoing worldwide financial crisis. This online poker community is giving its members the opportunity to take advantage of Instant Bankroll every six months. The free poker money (http://www.pokersource.com/free-poker/money/) promotion is available on some of the world's largest online poker sites, including Absolute Poker, Action Poker, CD Poker, Party Poker, RedKings, Titan Poker, and UltimateBet.

The amount of the free poker money (http://www.pokersource.com/free-poker/money/) varies by site, but ranges between $50 and $100. Interested poker players must sign up for an account through PokerSource.com. A representative will then walk interested customers through the process and schedule a deposit. A bevy of Poker Source members have already taken advantage of the revamped Instant Bankroll program. Originally, just one Instant Bankroll was allowed per customer.

In addition to handing out seed money, Poker Source (http://www.pokersource.com/free-poker/money/) is also offering its members the chance to compete for $6,000 in freeroll prizes during the month of January. On the 10th of the month, Poker Source will host a $2,000 event on PlayersOnly. Eight days later, Cake Poker will take center stage with a $1,000 freeroll. On January 24th, bwin Poker will hold a $2,000 freeroll for qualifying Poker Source members. One week afterwards, CD Poker will welcome Poker Source customers for a $1,000 freeroll of its own. On December 28th, Poker Source held its largest freeroll ever on the popular online poker room Full Tilt. The $5,000 freeroll attracted 853 players and was won by U.S. poker player "zubs1aa," who pocketed nearly $1,000.

Finally, RedKings has been added to the free poker gifts (http://www.pokersource.com/free-poker/gifts/) promotion on Poker Source. Just for signing up with the OnGame Network site, players can receive a $50 gift card to a major online retailer. They can also grab a subscription to the popular training sites PokerXFactor and StoxPoker or even a license for the database program PokerTracker. A 300 piece Nevada Jacks chip set or three poker books can also be acquired by signing up for RedKings through Poker Source and fulfilling the requisites.

In addition to RedKings, the free gift promotion is also available on 888 Pacific Poker, Absolute Poker, Action Poker, Bodog, bwin, Cake Poker, Carbon Poker, Devilfish Poker, Everest Poker, Full Tilt, Gnuf, Hollywood Poker, Paradise Poker, Party Poker, PokerStars, and UltimateBet. The availability of these sites differs by location. In addition, requirements for the deposit amount and number of hands vary by site and gift chosen, so interested customers are encouraged to visit PokerSource.com today for more information.

Happy New Year to the entire online poker (http://www.pokersource.com/) community from the staff of PokerSource.com!

Declining Gaming Revenues and Air Traffic Continue to Plague Vegas

Amy Calistri

Summer is considered the "off season" in Las Vegas as many tourists pass on the desert destination in the heat of July. But July 2008 was more off than usual, as challenging economic conditions continue to take their toll. Last week the Nevada Gaming Control Board issued their monthly report indicating that gaming revenues were down 12.97% in July 2008 compared to July 2007. Clark County turned in worse numbers than even the state average; Strip revenues were down 14.67%, downtown dipped 16.39% and Mesquite was off 32.42%. + more.
